The Chair of Leadership in Values at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia, located at the Manresa campus, was established with the aim of creating conditions for individuals, teams, and organizations to use leadership to promote positive changes in their environment. It is directed by Pep Guardiola and Manel Estiarte and is supported by a large number of prominent figures in the academic, social, and economic fields.
The Chair has developed its conceptual framework based on the professional and personal trajectories of its two directors. Thus, on a playing field, twelve pairs of activators (values) connect with four dimensions (individual, team, organization, and environment) and, together, become the pieces that shape a unique theoretical model that explains and specifies the different styles of leadership in values.

About the Values-Based Leadership University Chair
Conceptual Framework
The Chair has developed a theoretical framework that refers to the life trajectories of its directors, Pep Guardiola and Manel Estiarte, and to the values of the Fundació Universitària del Bages – UManresa, the promoting institution.

The Values-Based Leadership Chair organizes training and outreach activities for different types of groups and in various formats, always with leadership and values as the common thread.
